At 2pm today, teams can officially sign free agents, trade players, burn money and flush millions down the tube with little to no supervision. Of course, as your all know by now, the first blockbuster has already happened, and then un-happened. The schedule is out, and the Sixers will open the season in Portland on boxing day. Their West Coast trip lasts five games and features a back-to-back, a tough one, going from Utah to Golden State for their typical New Year's Eve game (my wife is thrilled about this).
