If the Sixers win either of their next two games, this season's Ice Capades trip can be classified as nothing short of a rousing success. Tonight, the calendar will flip some time in the third quarter (on the East coast), and if the Sixers can pull off a minor miracle in Los Angeles, they'll have every right to celebrate.

As a Sixers fan, the only good thing you can say about 2010 in general is that hopefully the path was cleared for 2011 to be a little brighter. As far as tangible results go, well, let's just hope we don't have to live through another year like this for a long, long time.

Andre Iguodala missed his second consecutive game but his replacements more than picked up the slack against a defensively disinterested Phoenix Suns squad. About halfway through the game, I realized Vince Carter will be a perfect fit for the Suns. He's only 50% more disinterested than the entire franchise. This game may just have been Evan Turner's coming out party, and it was definitely fun to watch.

The forgotten team in the Orlando trade mess of a week or so ago was the same Phoenix Suns the Sixers will take on later tonight. There's a chance Vince Carter will make his debut for the Suns, but the guy who's been filling in as the starting SG in Jason Richardson's absence has put together a couple impressive games in his interim role as starter.

Typically, we take a look back and a look forward at ten-game intervals around here. Well, the holidays and the back-to-back delayed it by a game. Anyway, the Sixers were 6-5 over their last 11, they sit 7 games under .500 and a half game out of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
